Ok, I finally got around to making Something You Should Know (a Brutal Light short story) available for free on Amazon.com for Kindle users. Not sure why it took me so long, except that I’ve been busy and it’s my first time going through Kindle self-publishing and there are all kinds of shiny things on the Internet. You know how it is.
(Quick recap: Something You Should Know is a short story set a few months before the events of my dark fantasy novel Brutal Light. While not a direct prequel, it does foreshadow events in that book.)
Anyway, you can find Something You Should Know on Amazon here. It’s also still available from Smashwords (.mobi, .pdf, .epub, etc.), BarnesAndNoble.com (Nook), iTunes (iPad, iPhone), and assorted other e-book vendor sites. You can even read it directly on the Smashwords site using the html viewer.
